Me:"Alright, now before we install anything, we need to be sure everything's unplugged from the back of the computer except for monitor, mouse, keyboard, and power."

EU: "What about the printer?"

Me: "That too."

EU: "What about the camera?"

Me: "That too."

EU: "Can I just unplug it from the camera?"

Me: "No, it needs to come off of the back of the system."

EU: "Why?"

Me: "Because Windows will try to install it before it's done installing itself."

EU: "Why?"

Me: "I'm not entirely sure. It'll show up as "other device" and possibly cause driver conflicts."

EU: "What if I just turn it off?"

Me: "That won't make a difference."

EU: "Ok, what about the cable box?"

Me: "The cable modem? Yeah, disconnect that too."

EU: "From just the box?"

This continued for a good 20 minutes, then followed by 10 minutes of silence after he finally got the message...
