Date: 2004-05-19 04:12 pm (UTC)That portion of the company is supposedly a facination group to work for and do business with. But Best Buy Geek Squad is a different story. If you have my position (a CIA "Counter Intelligence Agent") you have to deal with all the retail crap.
In my store its the age old problem of management not giving a damn about the tech department because repair revenue is such a minor percentage. However, if you are a Double Agent, you do indeed get your own VW Beetle and go to people's homes to fix their computers and set up networks and such.
THAT job regardless of the Best Buy relationship is fantastic, I have a good friend who is a DA and he is loving every minuite of it.
