I am interested in your company's software. You would like to set up a demonstration to show how it would benefit me? Great! When you emailed me last week to ask whether the 25th was a good day to schedule it, I replied that it was a public holiday, and the 27th or later would be fine.
I know that you were aware that I was on the other side of the globe, having mentioned that the most reasonable time to schedule would be roughly 7.30am(my time)/4.30pm(your time).
So why, when I just went to quickly skim the monitoring emails before work tomorrow, do I have an invite for 11pm tonight? It was sent after midnight (my time) on Friday, so even if Friday was not a public holiday, you should not have reasonably expected me to receive it before knocking off for the weekend. I also sure as hell don't get paid enough to do any work at 11pm on any day, let alone a public holiday.
Now, I hope the tech you scheduled is in touch enough with this whole other-side-of-the-world thing to realise that it's totally my bed time now.
