Man today people are just plain retarded...here's 2 examples...

User: Hi I'm getting timeout errors when I try to use your software.
Me: Ok is anyone else having this problem or is it just you?
User: No its just me and im also getting an error saying that im out of memory.
Me: Has your local IT staff looked into this?
User: He said that he would come by and take a look in a lil while.

See the thing is we dont support windows or any other OS we just support our software...so if your OS is gone to hell take this quarter and call someone who CARES!!!

The other one is nice i didnt talk to them but the ticket speaks for itself...

IS THE PROBLEM/ OTHER/ UNINSTALLED THE MOUSE DEVICE...

I mean WTF?!?! again how is that our problem....

Bleh sorry for the rant guys but I was gonna break if i didnt let some of this out...

Hey everyone this one isnt so much of a rant....

Anyways lastnight while I was digging up some info on my HTML paper I found that some of the founding members of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) created a song called the Net Flag and I liked what little of the lyrics I could find so I figured i'd share them with ya...

Quick recap: I am the 'senior' support tech at my company. We are in the gaming industry, and My job is to act at the 'alpha geek' for the rest of the support staff at the facility I work at. My primary job function is to manage the site's inventory for about a third of the gear that IT supports, (computers, printers, and Point of Sale gear) administer the preventative maintenance process, and refresh old computers with new computers when the old ones fall out of warranty. I also handle the odd escalation, and act as backup for the support team.

It's a bit on the long side, as are most of my rants.
