.. that tech support agents would be hired on the basis of their ability to communicate articulately with customers and write coherent notes for the benefit of whoever comes after them. That's what you'd think, anyway. But you'd be wrong .. *headdesk* .. very wrong ..

We have about 80 computers that are basically dummy systems - they're used for one thing, and that's it. The lusers just input numbers that write back to a database on the server. I don't mind the systems themselves - they're simple and straightforward. This is what I hate:
