Dog help me.

I'm doing a PM on one of the Tech systems. Part of the PM process is that we are supposed to defrag the systems, and also remove the profiles of everyone on the shared systems.

I'll be damned if I'm gonna do that to one of the tech machines without tell people first and giving them a week's grace, though. That's a good way to be on the wrong end of a "workplace accident". ;)

I did, however, notice something that looked strange, do I am running my usual "not company procedure, but my tech procedure" of Ad-aware and the Win32 version of Mcafee on my trusty bartPE disc. I was right, I found a adware downloader amonst the cookies. Fortuantely, there were no bugs on it that I could find.

We also have a few tasks that run every quarter that were not installed on the machine (Bad techs! No cookies!), so I ran them. It mostly worked except for the 850 MB of crap in one of the user account's recycle bin that I can't delete. Oh well, I guess it'll get defraged with that crap in place. ::sigh::
