We're going to see how well the Kaspersky works to protect Outlook...
The plug-in for e-mail protection only works with the Microsoft e-mail clients. This should cause you anti-Microsoft freaks to hop up and down a bit and yell "Klyf, what are you thinking using Outlook for your e-mail?"
To which I reply: It works fine. Most exploits only work for people who leave their settings at default, and never update the security patches for Windows. Besides, where/when did I claim to be a sane and rational person?
After using Eudora 6, I remain unimpressed. Besides, it not being able to cope with the AV locking the file and causing me to lose my mail really pissed me off. So, I switch to a product that theoretically WORKS with the Kaspersky AV.
I have $5 (us) says that the Kaspersky e-mail protection will be far more trouble-free than either Norton's or McAffee's.
