At work, while on a call. I asked the customer to disconnect his router from the connection so that we would be able to see his valid IP Address and do further troubleshooting from there.
Me: Okay, so what we are going to do is remove the router from the modem so we have a direct connection to the computer.
Customer: Okay no problem. I may need a bit of help with it while I remove cables...
Me: That's okay sir. I'll be able to help you out with that
Customer: Okay, so I have removed the cable from my router and what would you like me to do with it?
Me: If you would plug it into the back of your computer that would be great.
Customer: Okay, hang on. I'm going to get my daughter to help me take the computer out of the desk.
Customer: Daughter, Can you come here and help me with the desk?
Daughter: Okay, Give me a second.
Customer: Okay so I have removed the cable from the router and pulled the computer out, what do I need to do now?
Me: Okay so we are going to plug in the RJ45 cable into the back of the computer. There is already going to be a cable there so you can just un-plug that one.
Customer: Okay.
Customer: Daughter, I told you to stay in here because I would need you again.
Daughter: You should be showing me with respect and be grateful that I am helping you with this.
Customer: I'm sorry Daughter. May you please take a moment from your friends to help me with the computer so you will be able to use it?
Daughter: No. I'm busy right now.
Customer: Alright. I'll do it myself. It will take longer. But it will get done.
10 minutes later:
Customer: Okay so everything is set up now
God, if that were my daughter... I would fucking kill her. Why would you treat your father in such a way? I honestly felt like asking him why he would put up with that.

I'm going to strangle the creator of System Restore.
It's currently disabled. And it's bad enough that I just finished wrestling with an overzealous firewall, _AND_ i'm sick, but For a program that's currently disabled, it's taking up a HELL of a lot of space of my hard drive.
1.91 Gigs.
one point nine - freaking - one gigabytes.
C:\strangle /sysrestore -creator
