Jan. 26th, 2010 01:18 am** I ended being abruptly forced as into being a customer's wife while we figured out why $phone service provider$ wouldn't port his number over because the first time we conferenced the call in, the rep I spoke to with $other service provider$ wouldn't speak to the customer with me on the phone. I did not come up with this idea and the customer did not inform me of his decision until we had the next rep on the phone. Right, honey... *twitch*
** The entire call center dropped all of its calls and left the call center disconnected for 15 minutes. We all stared blankly at each other until the queue came back up and hammered us for the rest of the night.
** I got awarded the fail bomb [a nerf ball with "fail bomb" writte on it in permanent marker] for accidentally rearranging an entirely outlook calender in $market. ... and for blind transferring a customer to the local market.
