yeah, i've always wondered what was up with that. Don't they know that we are not customer service? Our job isn't supposed to entail bowing down to their every whim. We get the job done, bullshit free ... so if they start bullshitting us, all we really want to do is hang up and hope the next person is a bit more polite :P

Being an ass makes me less likely to solve the problem. If the customer is more interested in yelling than fixing their computer, then the real problem is in the user, right?
