bored at work

application was re-loaded two days ago
removed excel11.xlb and allowed temp to rewrite
rebooted machine, which is terribly slow
app help>about loaded up a website

this file does the same on another PC
but a separate file opened easily
I believe that it's not a problem with version
but actually a case of file corruption.
user has a workaround, of course
and will re-write the file from a working source.

I am teh bored at work.

Sometimes the best creative writing and artwork comes from moments like these. I started writing "Lullaby for the Commuter" while struggling to stay awake on my train ride home one night last week. Thankfully, it did manage to keep me awake enough to not miss my stop, which is harder now that it's dark when I head home & the conductors don't always announce stops clearly. :)
