Pretty well. We have the back one hooked up to a straight SATA port on the motherboard and the front one to the eSATA port. It works great for our purposes as the rear drive never changes but we're always swapping the front one. The back one is not hot swappable and will freeze the computer if you try to change it but the front one works like a breeze. hard drives in and out constantly. Since we use it mostly for migrating users, it's a perfect setup and fast. Way better than the old USB method.

Any idea why the back one is not hot swappable? I thought both SATA and eSATA were hot swappable. Or is it something to do with how you have the back drive configured?

You know, I have no idea. My co worker set it up and as that back drive is always needed as is, I've never had cause to test it.

Is it bad that I got as far as finding out Int 18 was DISKLESS BOOT HOOK (START CASSETTE BASIC) before I realized what was going on?
