techrecoveryI've officially put in a form of resignation, so I troubleshoot DSL no more. Farewell, tech support and asshole customers.
Now speaking of asshole customers...
so I have one day left and nothing to lose, right? All my recommendations will come straight from my manager and hmm....he's at lunch...
What's this!? A co-worker got a Sup Call...
And the guy is calling back because he's pissed off at another agent on my overnight shift?
SETUP: Ken got a call from a DSL technician for Verizon and did his best to troubleshoot the issue.
FACT! - Asshole on phone claims to know more than Ken
Anyway, at the end, the customer gets connected and says "Yeah, I got connected because I didn't do anything you told me to." Ken has a short fuse and procedes to go off on him.
Minutes later, Art gets asshole immediately demanding a supervisor. Art begs me to take it. Well of course I do.
Spoke with Ken before and got the story I just told you, psyched myself up, and pick up the call.
FACT! - Asshole calls Ken an idiot, a jerk, and probably a godless son of a bitch. I wasn't paying that much attention.
FACT! - Asshole ADMITS Ken got him connected, when he already said with Ken he didn't do anything he told him to.
Me: Well sir, I was listening to the call and I believe you said 'I got connected because I didn't do anything you told me to', is that right?
AH: Yeah
Me: Well that was very rude.
AH: He was being rude.
Me: And didn't you just say he did get you connected?
AH: Yeah he did but (bullshit bullshit backtrack caught in a lie)
Me: Well which is it? Did you just say that to make him mad?
(Fast-Forward)
Me: And if you've been doing this longer than anyone here, couldn't you have fixed this yourself?
AH: Yes.
Me: Then why didn't you?
AH: If I want to do it myself or if I want someone to walk me through it is my prerogative since I'm paying for it.
Me: Well don't you find that to be wasting your time?
AH: No.
Me: ((laughs))

AH: Is there any way I can get out of this contract?
Me: Umm...nope!
AH: 'cause you jerks just aren't worth it.
Me: Well sir, you jerks aren't worth supporting so...
AH: That's ok, because you guys are just a bunch of pussy-eatters
Me: Well, the males of us are, sir.
AH: What?
Me: The males of us are. Pussy-eatters. Unlike you.
AH: (blah blah im an asshole) Is there anything else you want?
Me: To hang up on you?
AH: Go ahead, because I'm just gunna...
(CLICK)
Asshole pompous tech calls because he doesn't know as much as he claims to, passing it off on CHOICE. Delt with accordingly. Shame he wasn't a "System Administrator".
In closing, I'd like to promise you every word of this is true. There were a few other points I'm sure I missed, but I hit the major ones. I dedicate that call (and any others like it, I still have a day left) to all of you.
What the hell kind of insult to a guy is "pussy-eatter"? Should have called him a cum-catcher.
What are they going to do, fire me?
