techrecoveryThe network admins here wrote a nifty little program that they've put on everyone's PC Desktop called the Helpdesk Assistant. It's a utility that shows the computer name, IP Address, PC model # and Serial #, all in one spot.
Today one of the general support helpdesk folks told us and a user: "The IP Address should never display in the IP Address field."
5 minutes later, he apologized for giving incorrect info.
