Although I will admit to *trying* to cut down my sugar intake by cutting a 50/50 mix of diet coke and regular coke to try to kill the chemical taste of the diet stuff... (which just did *not* work today...)

What would the immediate action for a liquid spill on a laptop be? Flip it over to stop further inundation, then call support? Or would you want to stand it up in some way?

Immediately pull all power. Remove all available access panels and keyboard if you can.

However, given that this was soda, if any of it got into the interior the machine is pretty much toast. That stuff is a bitch for corrosion.
