techrecoveryTook in ass-nasty computer. While cleaning it up prior to doing work on it, noticed two things:
1. Floppy drive door was gone.
2. There was something purple in there.
After some wriggling and coaxing with an unbent paper clip, a very skinny screwdriver, and a flashlight held between my teeth, I extracted a purple plastic bead roughly the same diameter and thickness as a stack of three nickels. Not to mention copious amounts of dustbunnies.
Nothing has yet topped the Tweety Bird keychain I once found in a drive. Though the mouse inside the case (computer mouse, not mammal) came pretty close.
