I've never really understood non-text spam. It just makes them much, much easier to block.

I remember the first time CNN.com started using ads with sound. They earned a permanent place in my Restricted Sites zone list.

Or, if they complain, turn over the management of their filters to them completely, until they whine that they want it done by you again.

My last job was problematic in the "She's been working here longer than you" routine. As if my job is to cater to those with tenure.

So for those people, they had all the say in the world. If they were pissed, off to the CEO they went.
