Customer wanted to have his DSL upstairs and downstairs. The easiest way is with a wireless router, so I suggested this to him.

Sucty: I cant use a wireless connection cause it picks up other peoples! There is no way to keep it from doing that!
Me: Yes you can. You just need to configure it with your TCP/IP information and secure your connection
Sucty: What? Secure what?
Me: Secure your wireless connection
Sucty: How do I do that??
Me: It depends on your wireless router. You'll need to talk to the manufacturer.
Sucty: I'll just talk to a tech. Can you transfer me to a tech?
Me: ... I AM A TECH
Sucty: oh... oh... I'm sorry... I uhhh...
Me: Again, you will need to set up the wireless router according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Sucty: Okay. thank you.

he's so going to call back to talk to a "tech" who will tell him the same damned thing. He's just mad at me because I told him to delete his own emails.
