Getting a call on a machine that was seeing file sharing hosts on the LAN but couldn't load web pages, realizing the one thing this could be, double checking by doing a quick telnet from the affected machine to a www.google.com on port 80 and getting "no address associated with nodename", and seeing the issue go away when the user put in explicit DNS addresses .. priceless.

Some days I'm good. :D

I found the same thing once because a user couldn't get Norton updates...it couldn't get to their website. ;)
