help with a mac please

hi i need help, i dont use a mac but i'm using my friend's because it has an embedded microphone and i need to record something, problem is i can't find the proper program to record.... any suggestions?

First off, wrong community. This is where techies hang out to rant about customers. Hence, asking questions here is generally a Bad Idea™. The correct place to go ask questions is tech_support (note the underscore). You could have found all this out, and saved yourself the embarresment of posting in the wrong place, by looking at the community profile first.

That said, I'm in a good mood and you've been reasonably polite, so I'm going to be nice and point you in the direction of Audacity. I cannot help you with how to use it on a Mac, but if you look at the site you will see a link at the top labelled "Help" which should tell you how.

If you have any more questions, remember to ask them in the right place

There's this nice new tool out there on the web, been there for a couple of years or so. Called Google (http://www.google.com). You may have heard of it. It will certainly give you better answers than this community.
