So really... are you trying to kill us over here?

Just found out from the Product Managers, who told the Project Managers a month ago... all of whom neglected to tell Support...

...That we have to manually touch every single customer site who has our newest software this weekend because of a bug in the MS Notification Services that will jack up our scheduled processes after Sunday morning.  EVERY SINGLE SITE.  Granted, it's new software so it's only installed in 40 or 50 locations, but each of those is going to take 20-40 minutes of work... assuming we can get remote access in the middle of the effing night.

And for the sites we can't remote in to?  We'll probably have to re-crunch data on Monday when they finally get our frantic voice mails, so each of those sites will turn in to a 1-2 hour process if we're lucky.

And that doesn't even cover the fact that the OS for one particular hardware image won't take the MS DST patch.  We're not quite sure what we're going to do about those guys yet...

So... who else is gonna be around at 2AM Sunday morning?  I'm thinking it may be a good night to bring beer.
