emails from a parallel universe
Dec. 4th, 2006 09:51 amIn my own little fantasy world, this is what I want to reply to this Luser, whose question is below and verbatim...
Q: How is it possible, that I'm the sender, of the spam I receive? In fact, te second part of my email adress with different prefix, that I has.
A: Good question! Hmmm... They might be emails from a parallel universe, or emails sent from your future self. Either way, you should contact Popular Science and have this find published. Baffled, Tech Support

Given a standard email address of the form "myname@host.com", wouldn't the "second part of my email address" actually be the part after the @-sign?
I.e., isn't he actually asking about email coming from "someothername@host.com", and thinking that all host.com email addresses are his email address?
