In 1995, She bought a 1976 Chevrolet pickup for $7,000 at 36% financing (!) and was convinced she got a good deal. Out of pity, we later convinced her to demand refinancing and she got half the interest rate.
The icing on the cake was the license plate frame she had custom made at a booth at the local mall: I'D RATHER PUSH A CHEVY THEN DRIVE A FORD.
