I Love my older users!

One incoming mail to him got blocked by our antispam, I gave him info on how our server operates it's blocklists and got back the folllowing:

"Hi and thanks for the info.

In my work against windmills my emailas are frequently blocked as spam, they are reported as spam by the windMAFFIA!
When I switch Ip-adress and reconnects the problem usually dissapear.
The windmaffia has very large resources and can offcourse block all of us, who are leading the resistances email!
I will send your info onto our emaillist!"

Yepp, apparently using antispamblocklists makes you part of the windmaffia!

Warning for rhsbl.sorbs.net blacklist. It blocks too wide!

Now this is not normally  a post I would make to this community, but I figure it's worth mentioning.

The list rhsbl.sorbs.net has added a feature where they take URL:s out of spammails and then block the domain mentioned in those URL.

While it's seems like a good idea, it has also made them block disney.com , hotmail.com att.net , yahoo.com and gmail.com.

Thus preventing real mails from coming through.

I caught it here and immediatly dropped their list from my antispamblocks. But it has meant that alot of real mail has been bounced back to the sender.

So if you are using that list, you might wanna check your maillog and check for
"blocked using rhsbl.sorbs.net; Domains found in URLs in spam "

Oh and Thanks Sorbs!  nothing I love more then extra work.
