I got into an argument once about chlorine content in Splenda with my girlfriend's grandmother (don't ask, just don't). She kept citing "but EBay said!" when she meant she got a source off the internet.

And of course, with that level of internet savvy, who wants to bet that she happened to pick an accurate source?
