On a daily basis I am confronted by people who cannot read error messages. the amazing and wonderful thing about SMTP error messages is that they tell you *exactly* what the problem is, and if you can read the message you can solve the problem. And yet, I help people with these 1 or 2 sentence messages, and for some reason, they find them confusing.
